Why Cancer blog

After having a few family members diagnosed with cancer, I have been looking at cancer treatments and items. Looking for alternative and additional treatment modalities is time consuming and really a challenge at trying to weed out the moneymaking schemes and snake oils people have put up for sale. Here are some things worth considering for both prevention and as additional alternative strategies to augment regular treatments. I though about making this publicly available because of the time consuming nature of this research and hope it may prove useful to someone.

My own background; I am a medical doctor trained in the field of psychiatry. I worked in bigger facilities and later in a private office for some years, Currently I am working with transcranial magnetic stimulation for the treatment of depression in a private office in New Hamshire.

If you have questions I will gladly try to answer them or direct you to answers. This information is provided for educational purposes and does not constitute treatment of any kind, and further I recommend you work with an appropriate professional treating your illness.

Some things I plan to discuss here include:
  • diets
  • looking for a doctor
  • alternative therapies
  • general guidlines about healthcare
